Non-Default Branch Does not Display
Cannot Edit or Cancel a Placement
Unable to Email from the Avionté Web Platform
Issue
When creating a new order in the Order section, the non-default branch does not display when typing the name in the Branch field.
Resolution
If the branch name needs to be updated, click the X next to the branch name and begin typing the name of the branch. A list of branches populates as the word is being typed. If the branch does not appear, check two places in the core app.
The available branches in this list are defined by two places in the core app. First, the available branches are set by the Actions Menu - Branch Settings. The branches in this list are the user's available branches associated with the supplier for the selected customer's default branch. Second, the available branches are set by the ShowBranchFromAllSupplier config option. When this config option for the chosen supplier is set to "True," then the user's available branches from all suppliers with that config option set to "True" will also be included in the branch list.
Issue
I cannot edit or cancel a placement from the Placement Info in the Order Card Quickview.
Resolution
Ensure that the AllowEditDHOrderBillingInfo config option in the core app is set to "True." This is set to "False" by default. Once this is set to "True," you will be able to edit or cancel the placement of talent. See the Config Option - AllowEditDHOrderBillingInfo article for more information.
Issue
I'm not able to email from the Avionté Web Platform. Specifically, when I select some records and then choose ‘Send email to selections’ from the menu item, nothing happens.
Resolution
You may be using a web-based email service (e.g. Gmail) that needs to be enabled via browser protocols so that the service may interact with Avionté Web Platform.
Enable Gmail.com
- Sign into gmail.com.
- When gmail is initially accessed, an icon is available on the right-hand side of the address window. Left-click the icon.
- A mail.google.com configuration menu displays. Select Allow and click Done.
Avionté Web Platform should be able to interact with Gmail. The user may need to exit the Avionté Web Platform and sign in again.
Enable Outlook Online (Hotmail)
The specific path names may differ depending on the version of Windows.
- Open the PC's Control Panel.
- Select Programs from the Control Panel.
- Select Default Programs.
- Select Mail as the program to which defaults will apply.
- Select Choose defaults for this program.
- Place a checkmark in the box next to the MAILTO protocol to specify that when MAILTO protocol is called, the Outlook Online (Hotmail) program will be used.
- Click Save.
Enable Outlook (Desktop)
The specific path names may differ depending on the version of Windows.
- Open the PC's Control Panel.
- Select Programs from the Control Panel.
- Select Default Programs.
- Select Choose defaults for this program.
- Select Outlook (desktop) as the program to which defaults will apply.
- Place a checkmark in the box next to the MAILTO protocol to specify that when MAILTO protocol is called, the Outlook (desktop) program will be used.
- Click Save.
