The Talent area shares some common search functionality with other Avionté Web Platform areas. The search field, saved searches, and basic filter operation are used in all areas of Avionté Web Platform. This page details search functionality specifically in the Talent area.
Filters narrow down search results to include only those results that meet selected criteria. The search function in the Talent area features its own filters designed specifically for characteristics of that area.
Filters search results to only display Talent that coordinates with a selected branch of the recruiting agency.
Filters search results to only display Talent based on their current status. Statuses include Applicant, Active, and Deleted. Statuses are based on configuration from the core application.
Filters search results to only display Talent according to a location radius. The Talent's location is determined by their primary address, and will search on that ZIP code.
Filters search results to only display Talent based on selected proficiency such as experience with Microsoft software.
Filters search results to only display Talent according to data entered in the individual's Other qualifications section of their record.
Filters search results to only display Talent records featuring specific Tags (labels in a Talent record used to define and categorize the individual.)
Filters search results to those individuals that have tasks expectations - whether the task expectation is with the talent or the recruiter.
Boolean/Advanced Talent Search
Boolean - also referred to as Advanced Search - is a type of text search that combines keywords with operators such as AND, NOT, and OR to refine search results.
As an example, the phrase "alaska AND mechanic" entered into the Talent search field will generate all Talent records containing both words.

An Avionté Web Platform page is made up of fields. The Talent area has specific names for its fields including "LastName," "BranchID," and "OnAssignment." Additional field names are shown below in the Talent Field Names table. To view all of the available fields, enter a colon (:) into the search field.
Specific searches can be performed by entering the field name > (no space) > colon > a value. For instance, the phrase "LastName: Peterson" entered into search will generate a list of Talent containing "Peterson" in the LastName field. The field names are not case-sensitive and can be entered into the search field with or without capitalization.

|competencies||The name of a skill (specific programs or product) associated to the Talent.|
|createdBy||The name of the person who created the talent record.|
|employeeId||The unique alphanumeric value identifying the talent.|
|employer||The talent's employer.|
|firstName||The Talent's first name.|
|IsAvionté Web PlatformParsed||The Talent record was created directly in the Talent or Recruiter Module.|
|lastName||The Talent's last name.|
|maidenName||The Talent's name before it was changed in marriage.|
|onAssignment||The Talent's status based on whether or not they are working in conjunction with an Order. Enter "true" or "false" as the value.|
|qualifications||The name of a qualification (skill) associated to the Talent.|
|status||The Talent's current status.|
|tags||A specific keyword associated to a Talent record.|
|type||The type of talent record - processed, unprocessed, or purged.|
Talent cards generated following a search are displayed with a Relevancy Indicator on the upper-left of the card.
Talent cards with a title or text matching the search keyword are sorted based on keyword location (title is searched before body) and frequency.
